These modules are ready to be used as a multi purpose - stand alone unit.

With one of these modules with integrated controller, color 2,1” TFT display, input switches and a lot of available input / output ports you are able to set up a professional read to run solution which can be integrated immediately. A minimum size (smallest fits completely behind the display) makes the integration easy.

These modules all comes with our PowerBooster which creates the needed voltage for the display lighting. The modules are also offer ing a RS232 interface for an easy connection to any other device (thus can also be used as just a remote display for any master computer running at a different location).

Hard to believe: behind the display everything is hidden: microcontroller, PowerBooster, RS232 interface, etc. Reduced to the max!

New in D072 V10: optional CAN tranceiver included on the board.

The mounting frame left and right and the switch area below the display are prepared for an easy removal thus getting a module barley larger than the pure display.

Lots of memory: 128 KByte as standard, with the optional ATMega2561 you will get 256 KByte memory and 8 KByte RAM. This should be sufficent for almost any program.

As of the larger size of the board, all Ports including ISP, JTAG, RS485, CAN, I²C, RS232 are available on easy to connect 2x5 connectors (0.1” spacing).

For the PCBs D072 and D073 there are development PCBs available allowing you the development and setup of small add ons without soldering at the main module. Just use the development PCBs.

The larger development PCBs P006 and P007 for the modules D072 and D073 comes with RS232 connector, ISP connector, switches, LEDs etc.

Just solder your needed transistors, optocoupler, bus driver etc. to the development PCB and connect your main module to the connector bars: your main module will always be like new.

Difference from D072 to D073: The switches of the D073 is optimized for a landscape usage (both can be used in all directions). The D072 offers I²C, an optional switching/dimming of the display lighting by the microcontroller and is optimized for portrait usage (but can be also used in landscape). Both modules D072 and D073 are offering together with the optional development board P006 options for I²C, RS485, JTAG ...

The PCB of the D071 is larger and allows the usage of framed 2x5 connector for each port. It also offers a JTAG connector and also CAN and RS485 option. No development / enhancement board available for this one.
